Annotations of Compulsory TPL Insurance Laws Regarding Losses Incurred by the Third Party Due To Vehicle Accidents and Other Relevant Regulations (Approved in 2016)
The main approach in formulating the compulsory insurance law in 2016, was the unconditional and comprehensive support of the claimant based on the goodwill (i.e. claimant that had no role in the accident or losses inccured). This also includes any interpretation of the articles that connotes that part of the losses of the claimant having goodwill is indemnifiable and this violates the laws and the purpose of the legislator.

The book entitled “Annotations of Compulsory TPL Insurance Laws Regarding Losses Incurred for the Third Party Due To Vehicle Accidents and Other Relevant Regulations (Approved in 2016)” authored by Dr. Seyyed Javad Mirghasemi, Director General of Insurance Law at Central Insurance of I.R. Iran has been released by Insurance Research Center, according to PRIAO, IRC.

The book comprises of seven sections including General Concepts, Laws and the Commitments of the Insurer and Policyholder, Law and Fund Commitments, Loss Payments, Obligations of Other Relevant Institutes and Organizations, Criminal Regulations, and Final Regulations.

The present book provides a comprehensive account regarding the articles of the Compulsory Third Party Liability Insurance Law regarding the losses incurred by the third party approved in 2016. The book is the results of the academic and practical experiences of the author during his exchanges with the judges and insurance community.
