According to Public Relations Office of IRC, the meeting was the second monthly session of the Internal Audit Desk series of meetings held with the presence of all its members and with the support of IRC’s Society and Industry Liaison Office (SILO).

Mediated by Mr Morteza Aslani, Director of the Internal Audit Desk, the meeting that was further supported by the internal audit enthusiasts, focused on six themes: risk-based internal audit, the relationship between internal audit and risk management, key risks in internal audit profession, the role of risk management in internal audit activities – fraud risk management, the triple defense layers in the insurance industry, and feasibility study of establishing risk-based internal audit system.

It must be noted that the next meeting of the Internal Audit Desk, scheduled to be conducted on October will deal with “Internal Audit and Internal Audit Committee in the Insurance Industry”.
