In his keynote speech, Dr. Kordbacheh, Head of IRC, underlined the significance of digital transformation and with reference to the recent statements of the President of CII, highlighted the acceleration of the required strategies for the digital transformation plan of the industry.
The following themes were discussed in the aforementioned meeting: amendment of the present rules and regulations especially bylaw 75 and implementation of its neglected clauses, provision and improvement of the professional tech-related education and digital transformation ecosystem for the industry players including brokers, agents, directors, and etc., reinforcement  of the supervision of the insurers’ performance by CII in online business and digital ecosystems, development of the required infrastructures and facilitation of the tech company activities in the insurance industry by CII, and establishing standards for the privacy and governance of the data.

At the end of the meeting, the importance of holding regularly similar meetings was highlighted. Also, IRC announced its willingness to consolidate with the trade organizations and tech players with regard to digital transformation, in order to tackle its challenge and to ensure the active collaboration among all the parties.
