IRC Holds First Knowledge Management Taskforce Meeting

In the fast-evolving insurance industry, knowledge is a valuable asset. Without proper management of expertise, experience, and practical insights, a wealth of intellectual capital could go to waste. Recognizing this, the Insurance Research Center (IRC) has made knowledge management a strategic priority, aiming to harness the industry’s intellectual resources more effectively.

To meet the above-mentioned goal, the Center convened the first meeting of its Knowledge Management Taskforce on February 19, 2025. The session, led by Dr. Leili Niakan, Director General of IRC, brought together a panel of esteemed professors and industry experts to establish a framework for the Taskforce’s future initiatives.

According to PRIAO-IRC, the taskforce members include Dr. Behrooz Asadnezhad, Gholamali Thabat, Dr. Mansourali Rahimi Bagh Abrishami, Dr. Shabnam Rafoua, Gholamali Gholami, and Dr. Mohsen Gharekhani.

The taskforce’s agenda is ambitious. It seeks to institutionalize knowledge management across Iran’s insurance sector, develop strategic policies, refine the industry’s knowledge management framework, and enhance both the scope and quality of knowledge-sharing initiatives. Additionally, the taskforce will assess strengths and weaknesses in the industry’s knowledge ecosystem, ensuring a more efficient and informed approach to growth and innovation.
