IRC Releases Report on International Risk Management Certifications
The Insurance Research Center (IRC) has published a new research report titled “Comprehensive Analysis of International Risk Management Certifications and Training Programs and Their Alignment with the Needs of Iran’s Insurance Industry.” The report aims to outline a roadmap for the development of professional training and the enhancement of resilience within the country’s insurance sector.

According to the IRC’s Public Relations and International Affairs office, the study analyzed four prominent certifications: FRM, PRM, CRM, and ARM. Findings indicate that the CRM and ARM certifications, which adopt an insurance-focused approach, are most closely aligned with the operational needs of Iran’s insurance industry, while FRM and PRM are primarily oriented toward financial domains.

The report also highlights challenges arising from the lack of local testing centers and international sanctions, proposing a phased roadmap: the short-term development of domestic certifications, medium-term collaboration with international institutions, and the long-term establishment of a comprehensive domestic certification with global recognition.

In conclusion, the study emphasizes that this phased approach could facilitate the development of professional training programs and strengthen the resilience of Iran’s insurance sector.

Interested parties can access the full report in the Research Reports section of the IRC’s website.
